"Fire" is the first puzzle in Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children.

The map locations of kindling (red) and firewood (blue).
Have one of the villagers grab some firewood from the south-western side of the beach, from a pile of wood. They will put it in the kindling pit. Then you must get some dry grass found near the coconut trees, and put it in the kindling pit as well. Once both ingredients are in the kindling pit, move your villager over it to have them start a fire. Once you make a fire, it will survive nineteen hours (on normal time). After nineteen hours have elapsed, you must repeat the process over again; however, you only have to light the fire once to complete the puzzle. Or you can continue having a worker replenish the wood before the fire burns out.
