The Elder Totem is the sixth puzzle of Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children.

- An Esteemed Elder (someone who has mastered 3 different skills)
Effects[]
Once you have an Esteemed Elder, a movable totem is created and placed in your village in their honor.
Tips[]
- The farming skill can be enhanced by fishing, collecting coconuts, or planting crops.
- The building skill can be enhanced by building or repairing huts, or working on many of the other projects, like clearing the thorns or building the dam.
- The research skill can be enhanced by dropping them at the research table.
- The healing skill can be enhanced by having them study the 'strange plants' around the village, or dropping them on sick villagers.
- The parenting skill can be enhanced by dropping them on a villager of the opposite gender, if they are both 18+, and the woman is under 50. Note: The parenting skill can be MAXED QUICKLY if the woman is over 50, by repeatedly dropping a male villager on her. Every time you hear the kissing sound, your villagers gain parenting skill. With younger women, a baby is made after one or two tries, but with 50+ women, your potential to up parenting skills is limitless.
- The easiest way to create an elder is to have a villager master 2 out of 3 of the other skills: farming, building, and research. Then help them quickly master parenting after the age of 50 (or before, for the males, if there is a female villager over 50). You'll get a boatload of idols this way. And can start a personal collection of them.
